Lucky

Dear W,

I had my first ever job interview for M&S this morning. Woke up so early (7:30am.. well for me thats very early as I normally get up at 1 or 2pm.. ha2. I know am a sleepyhead!) coz my interview was at 9am. I went to job centre with my mum as I didnt know where it’s about. Took a taxi, then waited for few minutes outside the job centre as it opens 9am. Mum asked me to switch off my mobile, then I found out that my fon wasnt inside my purse. I cant believe that I lost two mobile phones this year! Katangahan!

To make it short W.. I passed the assessment! Am so glad but at the same time worried bout my phone. After my interview, we went off to town then went back home. Mum checked voicemails in our landline, and somebody from Speedline (company of the taxi we took)  left a message saying they found my phone! Grabe, I was so lucky!

Regarding my application, am “on-hold” until I  get my timetable in Uni.. coz I have to know what time I can work when course starts. To end this off, I just wanna say.. that God is so good! Thank you so much Lord God!

Rollercoaster Emotions

Grabe! I’ve been through rollercoaster emotions these past few weeks.

August 11 Saturday (2 weeks ago)
- Nugroovz concert
- with Gail, Joyz, Furdz, Kuya Mike, Kevz, and the kids (john, matt, benjie, and i forgot the rest waha2)
- met 2 ladies from bradford Aykz and Aubrey
- had lotsssa fun.. non stop grooving… sweatness… photo takings… frisbee… chats

August 16 Thursday (a week ago)
- got my A level results
- super Lugmok! Unbeatable! huhu..
- you know, it’s like if there’s something funny… i just cant laugh.. waaaat hahaha. good thing I dint write to you W that time coz it’ll be full of ka-corny-han. he2

August 22 (present)
- had my first theory test @ 10am
- passed it first take! whooo! Thank you Lord God! coz if I dint pass it, my mum’s gonna kill me this time.. he2
- treat my friends at Teppanyaki resto (thanks to tita Mariel for giving me BIG discount! he2)
- the “Venga Voice” was born! waha3! dont care who you are.. where you’re from.. what you think as long as you love me baby.. (bandmates… Gail and Kevz)

I just hope W that I won’t have a down moment after this up one.. coz it seems like a cycle waha7.. first happy, then sad, then happy… hayz. That’s life as what they say.

19th Birthday (19 July 2007)

Dear W,

You forgot to greet me in my 19th birthday! hmp! nyaha2. Sorry if I was too lazy to blog bout it. Anyways, celebrated it at WMC club in Lincoln Green. So glad that all my friendships were there. Really love my tropa! I had fun ofcourse. Everything went well, altho I wasnt able to eat much. nyaha2.

Summer ‘07 (Barrio Fiesta)

Sooo many happenings in the past weeks. One was going to barrio fiesta. This trip happened week after our Spain enhancement.

14-16 July 2007 (Saturday-Monday)

- departed half past 5 in the morning (dint get to sleep)
- went to barrio fiesta in hounslow
- wander ’round.. fili foods.. bump cars (wahahaha! cant forget when ge and i reversing then the two tanders laughed out loud pointing to us)

Sunday
- went back to hounslow
- Regine V singing
- watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Odeon Leicester Square
- Julz and Furdz LQ. waha2

Monday
- Esprit shopping before going home waha2
- Tita Judz and Julz LQ
- departed for Leeds
- changed train coz of electrical error thingy. ambot what it’s called nyaha2

I was with madir, tita Judz, Julz, Gail, and Furdz.

SUMMER ‘07 (Barcelona College Trip)

Dear W,

Hola! Been busy and lazy to update W. Sorry for that. he2. So here’s what av been up to since my official summer vacation and before my first trip this summer ‘07. Attended Fili battle of the bands wiv my tropa. That’s the time wherein Julz and Joyz’s conflict started. Long story, it’ll just stay in my LTM. Watched Shrek the third and Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer aswell.

Anyways, this entry’s bout our Barcelona Trip. I actually had a great time and wants to go back there with friends/family (not a college trip so that I can do whatever I want unlike having teachers with you, where you have to follow their plans and cannot go round anywhere at anytime. wehe2). Still it was great coz they (teachers) organised everything and they were the ones who bought tickets and such for us students. It was all good. HOT weather! greatness! he2
3rd to 6th July ‘07

Day 1: Tuesday
- met at Leeds Bradford Airport
- arrived Barcelona then checked in hotel
- walked around local area and had dinner at a local resto
- went back to hotel

Day 2: Wednesday
- had breakfast
- went to Salvador Dali’s Museum
- been there for ages (coz of the longggggg queue)
- went back to hotel and got free time to wander around (shopping and picture taking)
- dinner at BAR RA

Day 3: Thursday
- breakfast
- went to Sagrada Familia and Goudi Park
- back to hotel then off to the beach
- dinner
- watched the magic fountains of Montjuich (twas awesome!)
- back to hotel

Day 4: Friday
- breakfast
- departed for Picasso Museum
- last minute shopping for souvenirs
- went back to hotel and packed up
- departed Barcelona
- arrived Leeds
- got ill when I arrived home huhu (friggin cold in here! grr)

So yea that was it. Wanna go back there!!!! Adios!

P.S.  one receptionist in our hotel is a filipino… he said filipinos can hav discount in that hotel coz the owner’s wife is pinay… he2.. there were loads of filis and it’s like every resto got a fili worker

P.P.S. Julz and Joyz are OK now. Just yesterday actually he2. Good thing.

11 May ‘07 – bangag day!

Dear W,

What a day! I haven’t got any sleep yet for like more than 24hrs. Even a nap. Super. I was really tired and I still am but kuya Mike’s mini 20th birthday celebration took away my sleepiness and gets me high. nyaha2. I’ve been loud and BIT crazy waha2, maybe for the reason that I lack sleep? or should I say I didn’t sleep at all! Though it was just a dinner party, I still had fun coz I was with my great friends and we just had a laugh for the whole night. We were all teenagers as kuya Mike’s family (apart from Joyce) went to London. Anyways, reason why I wasn’t able to sleep since 12mn (11 May 07) til I have to go to college (first period 8.45am) coz I did my Unit 10 Applied ICT coursework (detalyado ever! ha2)! I have to finish and submit it on or before 4pm. On my free periods, break, and lunch time that day.. all I did was doing that f coursework!!! Thank God I manage to finish everything and submits it on time.

After college, we went shopping for kuya Mike’s present. Got him shorts from H&M. And then off to Borbon’s residence. Furdz, Kevz and Kuya Mike cooked and bbq-ing (nyahaha). We didn’t really “party”, we just watched American Idol while eating dinner but we had fun coz we ate with our bare hands. haha. Love it! And then teasing (always in the scenario everytime we’re together), singing, and laughing out loud. We missed Jehan though. She had work that night that’s why she dint make it. O well papel hassle (Mariel mode. lol)

At the end of the day, it turned out to be a great and memorable one for me (as it is my first time to stay alive awake and enthustiastic for more than 24hrs! whew!).

Right, need to go get some (well plentyyyyy) rest. See ya W!

7380-died; drive; work; mum’s day

Dear W,

Remember my post about having the phone I wanted? the one entitled 7380? I was so excited then.. but after 9 months.. the feeling of having that phone died.. huhuhu. I lost it W! I lost it last tuesday at school (13th March 07). Stupid. stupid. stupid! Lucky me my mum dint kill me. haha. Coz I cried while telling bout it.. haha. I know time will come that she’ll slap about it into my face. nyahaha. We’re still paying fo it coz it’s an 18-month contract.. 9 more months to pay! Hayz. Why am i so stupid??? I’ve lost 3 phones already! huhu.

16th March 07 (Fri)
- First session of my driving lesson
- Bill Plant company (first 5 lessons – £56… 6th onwards – £18.95.. not bad, cheaper than other companies)
- First time to drive a right hand car
- Discussed everything about the car and gave proper step-by-step instructions that should be followed before starting to drive. I need to get used to it coz if I won’t follow, Im gonna fail my practical test. Hayz, need to study everything as well to pass the theory test. 
- Enjoyed it btw!

17th March 07 (Sat)
- bought present for my mum for mother’s day
- worked in teppanyaki with Jehan
- i was knackered but lurv the pressure! waha2
- earned £30 fo 5hrs. cheers Mrs. Banks! wahahaha

Spring term

Dear W,

Sup? Sorry if I haven’t updated you for a long time. I’ve been busy and lazy. haha. It’s my free period and am bored, so lucky you I got a chance to blog! nyahaha. Here are some important things happened this Spring term.

13th Feb ‘07 (Manchester “bad?” trip)
- the tropa went to Manchester (first time out of Leeds trip without oldies. he2)
- it was supposed to be a great day and full of fun coz all ov us were present, but… (dont wanna elaborate things W. bleh! haha it’s stored in my long term memory anyway.)
- wander ’round Manchester’s town centre and shop
- at the end of the day, everything turned out to be fine. juz OK.

17th Feb ‘07 (Joyce’s 18th Birthday Party)
- held @ Leeds United football stadium Banquet
- The venue was ace. Love it! he2
- danced and played songs for Joyce. I miss the friday practices and playing games. nyahaha
- sadly Gail, Jehan and Nikki wasnt able to attend
- We had a lot of fun tho.

25th Feb ‘07 (Nikki’s 16th)
- actual bday 24th Feb
- went bowling with Nikz, Kevz, Denver, Fhurdz, and Julz
- then went to Nikki’s place.. had dinner.. Gail, tita Catz, and tito Levz came
- played footy.. watched PBB season 2 on tfc.. waha2

2nd March ‘07 (ice skating)
- ice skating after scul
- with kevz, fhurdz, julz, gail and jehan
- had dinner at teppanyaki

3rd March ‘07
- went ice skating again
- with same peeps.. haha
- Jehan’s lucky day (part of learning.. waha2)
- attended mass (st. anne)
- dinner at crown buffet

Dear W,

At last, mum got me a new digicam yesterday! Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 (pink one) wuhoo! It’s her late Christmas gift fo me. hehe. Well, we really need it coz we gave the old one to Shing… so yeah.. he2.. Thanks madirhood! Luvz ya! (Also, thanks to Kevz fo giving me a favour to send the digicam).

Anyways, mum visited uncle Vic last thursday (11th jan) with te Apay. I wasnt able to go with them coz ya know may pasok ako that time. hehe. Thanks to uncle Vic for the pasalubongs. mwahz!

Wish me luck W coz av got Maths exam this coming thurs. huhu. Btw, thank God fo my mock exam.. wahaha first time!

Happy New year! ‘07

Happy new year! hahay 2006’s over… it was like a rollercoaster (ung pang-bata lng hahaha) year fo me.. nyahaha.. genon? well coz there were loads of fun and juz bits of probs and stress.. Anyways, celebrated new year/’s eve with my mum, tita Judz, Julz, and Fhurdz.. again. hahaha! But Gonzales’ family dropped by.. as wut tita Cathy said “hit and run lang kami” nyahahaha.. Hoping this year would be a great one for me, for my family, and friends.  he2..

26th-27th December 2006 (IRONMAN/LIVERPOOL trip)

- went to Liverpool and visit my uncle ren (a captain)… their ship docked sumwer in Liverpool’s port (4got the name hehe)
- with mum, julz, and fhurdz
- foods were great.. and crews too!.. ofcorz my uncle ren aswell! tnx ‘cle!  hehe
- the next day (27th Dec), got off the ship and wandered round Liverpool’s town
- and went to church’s name, most beautiful church av ever been.. i meant the greatestest of all churches av seen! hehe
